A Message from KidZinc Board of Directors Chair...
I am pleased to introduce myself to you as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of KidZinc.
My name is Carla Hansen and I am a parent of two boys, one of whom attends the Wildwood program. I have been involved with the Board since 2005, and in September of 2007 became the Chair. The Board’s next task will be to develop a long-term strategic plan. With pressures from the community, our schools, and the city at large, we need a plan in place to move forward. Expansion of our services, program space requirements and employment strategies are just a few of the topics on the agenda. A strategic plan will help provide the framework that we require to lead the organization. KidZinc, as an organization, is working for change. KidZinc supports families by providing quality child care to the community at large. Our commitment is to continue to provide this service. We value your commitment to our organization and are open to any ideas you may have to assist us.
